How to backup and restore windows 8 have figures

Backup and Restore is one important built-in tool in windows. Backup means copying your windows in current state for restore in case you want it back. Restore refers to make your windows become previous state at any backup point that you created.

I. Backup

1. Click on control panel (Figure in Windows 8)

2. Click on Recovery

3. Click on Configure System Restore
    
    Configure System Restore allows user to enable any drive (Drive C or Drive D) for creating restore point.


4. Click on Create

5. Type the name of restore point to determine your restore point

6. Click on Create to create restore point

7. Restore point is creating

8. The restore point was created successfully

II. Restore

1. Click on control panel (Figure in Windows 8)

2. Click on Recovery

3. Click Open System Restore
4. Click Next to continue

5. Click on the restore point
    This Figure shows the last restore point. If you want to see more previous restore points,
you can check show more restore points in the left bottom.

6. Click Next to continue

7. Click Finish to restore

When the restore process finish, your windows is in the previous state at the backup time you create but your files, pictures and document is kept. Only Program and driver are effected.
