Check Disk is a system tool in Windows its self for maintenance windows when Windows has failure in working process. Check Disk can scan hard disk and it fixs the broken hard disk or we can say that it will repair any bad sectors on hard disk. Check Disk can take long time if your hard disk is very big and many errors found; it can take few hours in any rare case, but for this example hard disk is 80G and take time less than 1 hour. Some failures can damage hard disk that make your computer can not use if you do not check it. Do not worry to check hard disk because Check Disk never make your computer broken, instead it will make your computer process better. In windows generally have 2 partitions but I am going to guide to check disk in Drive C, the drive contains windows file and other program files.
1. Open My computer > right-click on drive C > click Properties
2. After Windows pop-up > click on Tool Tap
3. Then click on Check
4. After Error Checking (Local Disk (C)) windows pop-up > Click Scan drive
it is scanning
it finishs scan.
if hard disk has error, it will detail.
